Needle Stash Tracker helps knitters and crocheters keep tabs on every tool in their collection. Add knitting needles and crochet hooks with details like size, style, brand, quantity, and length. Your stash syncs automatically via iCloud so it's always up to date across your iPhone and iPad.
You can filter by tool type, search by any detail, track items on loan to friends, and export your full collection as a backup — all in a clean, purple-themed interface built for crafters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an account to use the app?
No account is required. The app works entirely on your device. iCloud sync is optional — if you're signed into iCloud on your device, your stash will sync automatically.
How do I back up my data?
Open the app, go to the export option in the menu, and share the JSON file to Files, email, or anywhere else via the iOS share sheet. To restore, import the file back using Replace or Merge mode.
Can I add custom needle sizes or brands?
Yes. Open the Manage Lists screen to add, remove, reorder, or reset any of the reference lists — including sizes, styles, and brands.
What does "On Loan" mean?
When you mark a needle or hook as on loan, it appears with a red badge in your list and shows up under the On Loan filter, so you can easily track what you've lent out to friends.
What iOS version is required?
Needle Stash Tracker requires iOS 17.0 or later.

Needle Stash Tracker does not collect, store, or share any personal information. All data you enter — your needle and hook inventory — is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced privately via your own iCloud account.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services. No data is transmitted to any server other than your personal iCloud storage.
