Needle Stash Tracker is designed with your privacy in mind. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Your data stays on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account.

Data Collection
Needle Stash Tracker does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- No personal information (name, email, location) is collected by the app.
- No usage analytics or behavioral tracking is performed.
- No advertising identifiers or tracking pixels are used.
- No crash reports or diagnostics are sent to the developer.
Data Storage
All data you enter — your knitting needle and crochet hook inventory — is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, your data is also synced privately through Apple's CloudKit framework to your personal iCloud account.
The developer has no access to your iCloud data. Apple's iCloud infrastructure handles the sync, and your data is protected by your Apple ID credentials.
Third-Party Services
Needle Stash Tracker does not integrate with any third-party services, including:
- No third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase)
- No advertising SDKs or ad networks
- No social media integrations or tracking
- No crash-reporting services (e.g., Crashlytics, Sentry)
The only external service used is Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Export & Deletion
You have full control over your data at all times:
- Export: You can export your entire collection as a JSON file using the in-app export feature and share it via the iOS share sheet.
- Import: You can restore your data by importing a previously exported JSON file.
- Deletion: Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To remove iCloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings.
Children's Privacy
Needle Stash Tracker does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Since Needle Stash Tracker does not collect any contact information, users are encouraged to check this page periodically.
